Fresh air in the North of Sweden

Hello everyone!

Have you seen? We have little more than eight hundred thousand visitors! OMG thats absolutely amazing! Thanks everyone! 😀

We have been home  for a week with family and friends in North of Sweden in August. It was so long ago that we where home in August, so that was lovely.

Me, Linda, have been home and spent lots of time with my best friends Elin, Anna & Sara. Everyone of us settled in with Sara and Ilja (her dog) for two days. Friday we had Swedish ”Kräftskiva”!! 😀 We laughed so much that we had muscle soreness on our cheeks and stomachs the day after. They are really wonderful friends!
Then of course I have also spent time with my family too. My mum, Gunnel and Arne. Dad, Tommy and Anette. My little brothers and their mother. And above all my Grand mothers, Ingrid and Agnhild, who are not so well unfortunately. My Grandma (mother’s side) Ingrid turned 80 and we had an small party for her. Before the weekend we where in Grandma’s old home in Haraudden with my mum, mum’s brother and my cousine. We had an fantastic dinner and were eating Swedish ”Surströmming”. It’s a kind of old herring. 😛 I haven’t ate that in years and OMG so delicious it was!

And for last I was visiting the worlds most beautiful foal, Euphoria! Absolutely gorgeous!
Upload some photos so you can see what a nice time I had.

When I came home to Oslo, me and Tomas was seeing each other for only 2 hours. We ate really good Indian food before it was time for another farewell and Tomas flew up to his lovely family and friends.
He slept a few days in his cabin with her mother Gunilla, Anders and Bella (their dog). He was celebrate his grandma who also turned 80 with a small party. Then he and his dad, Kjell went up to Hakkas to Kjell’s parents home for some moose hunting. 🙂
Last he spent some days with his friends in Luleå and some BBQ-ing on the schedule!!
We don’t have any photos from Tomas week but i might coming later.

We are really grateful for our lovely families and friends! We already miss you all!
Have a great autumn everyone!
Love and hugs from us!

Linda at home in the North of Sweden

Hi there!
I’ve now been back in Jokkmokk for a week. Going back to Oslo tomorrow, Tuesday.
It has been a hectic week as usual to meet with family and friends. I’ve also had time to go to my old stable and I’m so lucky to have good friends who would lend out their horse to me. It was funny as hell, but I had a really bad soreness in my muscles in the whole body, two days after, even in my hands… haha. But it was worth it!
On Friday me and my girlfriends Elin, Anna and Jenny had a girls-party. There was wine, good food, wine, cheese, wine, crackers and more wine! =D
Then we had a 50’s Birthday Party fom my Mom’s partner Arne on Saturday. We had a great dinner with drinks for 40 people. There it was full speed, unconscious almost to 6 o’clock in the morning for some, me and my mom went home at 3 o’clock! =D
There was al quick post from me and some pictures are coming!
Take care and big hugs! //Linda

Northern Norway and lots of visitors

Hello!
Sorry about that it’s been a while since we posted to you, but here’s a little update and it will be more on a couple of days!

First of all, a million-thanks to all of you who read our blog! We are now up to more then 60,000 visitors, unbelievable! We are so happy!

Then we had four fantastic days up in Vesterålen in northern Norway. We have been there with my dad and my little brothers. And the main attraction these days was Whale Watching. My dad turned 50 last year and get a present from us, a trip to the Lofoten Islands with a whale/killerwhale safari. But unfortunately we did not saw any killerwhales, it’s too early in the season but we had to experience the 15-meter sperm whale! We saw 8-10 of them, but five of them was at really close distance from the boat. It was an unforgettable experience!
We tell you more later and show you lots of photos so you can see how incredibly beautiful this country is!

We have made a website / rental webpage at Frangipani Villa Koh Tao – the address is:
www.frangipanivilla-kohtao.com
Go in and have a look!

Peace and Love
Linda at the keyboard at work and Tomas have been working night and are sleeping now.

Wonderful Summer-week!

Hi there!
Hope you all doing well around the world!
Another week has past and we got some lovely people who has visiting us here in Oslo. Last weekend Tomas mom Gunilla and Anders  was here and during the whole week my mom Gunnel and my grand mom Ingrid was staying with us. We had a couple of fantastic days with beautiful summer weather.
The whole week has been loaded with lots of sun, delicious food, small trips, heat, wine and love. Completely wonderful!
On Tuesday we where on an island called Langøya. On Wednesday we walked around Vigeland Sculpture Park and in the evening we sail out in the Oslo-fjord to do some sightseeing and eating lots of fresh prawns. On Thursday we rent a car and did a road-trip to Norwegians fifth largest lake Tyrifjord and its beautiful landscape. On Friday it was raining so we just did some shopping-hours. On Saturday it was sunny again and we spent the whole day on the island Gressholmen and on Sunday we just relaxed and watch the great movie ”Water for Elephants” and then we took a evening walk to to show Oslo Opera House to mom and grand mom.

And then this lovely week was til its end, they traveled back to Sweden on Monday.
It was so fun to have them here the whole week, we are missing them so much. The next year when they coming back we hope they going to stay for two weeks. 😉
Thank you so much for this wonderful summer-week! More pictures you’ll find here.

But now this summer has come to its end, it has turned below 20 degrees and it rains a lot.
It’s sad, we thought that we should have a few more hot days with sun, but if you look on the weather forecast it will not happened.
But then we long even more to stay in our beautiful new renovated house on Koh Tao. It is only 4 month left now until we’ll see it again!!  We got some new animated pictures from Aon yesterday! Look, isn’t going to be amazing?

Tomas has gone to his job and I’m off work to day, so now I’ll curl up on the sofa with a nice book and a cup of tea while the rain pouring down the window.

Take care,
Peace and Love
