Happy New Year from paradise!

Hello everyone! Here is an update again …
We have had lots of doing as usual! But the most fun that happened is that we had a great new years party!!! Here is a small flashback:
Linda’s friend Marlene from Oslo moved in with us on Friday, Linn and Reshirdan already lived with us since the day before. On new year’s eve by the day we went to Koh Nangyuan for snorkelling. We spent some hours sunbathing and had a great time. Late home and add excitement to us and drinking a Mojito to aperitif then was at.5.30.19.00 we went to the Moov for Tapas-dinner, which was absolutely fantastic! They closed at.22 so we went up to the House to continue celebrations there and celebrate tolvslaget from our terrace. Which was totally crazy fun! We in this Parliament drank a toast of Champagne, looked down on Fireworks, jumped and tjoade!! Then we had a small view of dragging down to Sairee Beach but we took us never so far but we stayed and continued the Party on the terrace … and the party was totally wild. We celebrated, on, was a little tired in the small hours, some blind enough to a bit, until we found that we would be up to 6 to celebrate the Scandinavian new year in which it was! = D Marlene fixed up a few Bailey’s Coffee to us so we were a little on waking. When it was over so it was that we would see Sunrise and after it gained a crazy idea that we would go to the Moov and look into the situation there, because they would have the afterparty which began at noon.06. Haha, so was that we went down, round under your feet. Reshirdan had fallen asleep so we left him at home. Where we danced iron and Marlene bought some superstarka VodkaLemon to us all that was really Smarmy, we became one hour until kl became 09 perhaps as it was dax for breakfast for all of us, who took ill long to get. Linn, Marlene and Tomas fell asleep almost we desktop!! Haha. We went and la us kl. 10. Yes, as new year’s day it was. Party-on for 16 hours at a stretch. Oh we got enough up to everyone that this was probably the only and last time! But it was fun!

Wednesday before we were sent out by On and Tor on Koh Tao Villa staff-party down with them, and it was a really fun experience to be ”locals”. They offered good food and lots of fun activities such as ”the entire ocean storms” and stomping balloons tied to each other’s legs. It was really really fun!

Friday, we had Thai Cooking course with On on Koh Tao Villas. That was super fun! We followed with On in the morning and had everything we needed to make Lap Gai Pad Khing, Pak pak Thai soup and Mango with Sticky Rice to derssert. Then we went up to our House and started cutting vegetables and boil rice, crushed chili, prepare chicken. And each one completely wonderful good lunch for us everybody!!

Now, Linn and Reshirdan went further so now only Marlene left here with us. It has rained late yesterday afternoon. Yesterday I took and Marlene a wonderful Oil massage and foot scrub on Kinnaree Massage down in Mae Haad Village is just 3 min from us by moped. Where is the talented there. When we then would run mopparna home to the House in the rain so low that a giant tree on the way. Marlene tried to move it but it was skittungt so we had to run out into the trench and around the tree, where we almost got stuck … haha. But we are so good at running moppe so could the galant! = P

Today it rained to and from the whole day so we have been on a little shopping and soon we’ll go and eat mouthwatering holiday skewer on Sairee Cottage that has been closed for renovation but that opens today!! Jippi!! And perhaps we can adequately cover a small massage tonight in!

We are heard and seen! Puss och kram < 3

Days in Paradise!!

Hello Everyone!
Here is an update about what we been doing these days…

On Christmas Eve we picked up two friends to Thomas who arrived to Koh Tao, Reshirdan and Linn. We showed them little bit around the Island and later that evening we were invited to our neighbors Lennart and Ann-Marie and their Poolparty. And it was really nice and fun. We were maybe 25 guests and we got lots of delicious food, we got BBQ Kebabs, baked potatoes, green sallad, fruit and thaifood, Then that was many beers… 😉

The day after was little bit heavy heads for some, hihi. But it wasn’t so nice weather outside so we just took it easy and showed Reshirdan and Linn more of Koh Tao from Dusit Buncha in the north to Charlok Harbour in the south. The we ate Indian dinner at Shalimar and went home for a beer or to on the terrace at home.

Yesterday it was little bit better weather in the morning and we packed our bag for sun and poolwater in Charlok Harbour. Bat just an half an hours later the sky turned black and it started to rain so we went home again. We did some things with AOn at Koh Tao Villas office. Its the girl who handles all our company-paper and doing the ”renovate” of the house. Her staff is taking care of the house and cleans it!

Today it was sun when we wake up and its still sunny outside. Right now we lay on a sunbed on our terrace!! Life is wonderful and we are in paradise!!!

Big hugs from us!

Finally on Koh Tao

Hello everyone!
Now we are finally here again and it is really wonderful!
This has happened since we left Oslo and Vienna:
We landed late on Monday night at Koh Samui, checked in at Florist Resort and woke crazy early at 5.oo AM on Tuesday morning. Went for a walk before the resort’s breakfast buffet. After breakfast it was a quick plunge into the pool and then we took the afternoon boat to our paradise of Koh Tao.
We stepped ashore after probably the worst boat trip we have had. 4 meters waves, vomit and the smell, urk. Not many people were in good shape after that trip. We plugged in our ipods at the highest volume, closed my eyes and breathed as quietly as we could and hope that the two hours boatride could go pretty damn fast. We had taken seasick pills, thankfully, so we felt ok. We were happy about we should not continue to Chumpon and Bangkok after that!
When we stepped ashort we went to Koh Tao Villas office and met with Aon, Lennart and Ann-Marie for a quick lunch and then we went up to our dream house togheter!
It was an incredible feeling to walk up the stairs!
See the beautiful garden we have got, painted stairs and doors, put up stones on the wall and look at the things they have done to improve our house! It was absolutely amazing!! See for yourself:

Is’nt it incredible fantastic!?

And then I’m sorry that we could not updat the blog until now. Today is the first day we have internet in the house. It was obviously someone who has cut some trees further down the hill and accidentally cut our line too… haha typical Thailand. But we promise to continue to put out a blog post a day and give you some more photos!

Now we sit on the terrace with to cold ice teas and crickets playing in the jungle outside. See you tomorrow!

Hugs from us!

Sunny days is on its way…

Hello everyone!
Now we only have one week left until we leave to Thailand! And god so we yearn, we have really deserved this five weeks of vacation!
We have worked and worked like fools both of us and now it’s finally approaching!
Our lovely house are also getting finished, it’s not much left. We have received photos from Aon and it is really getting amazing! But all of you have to wait a little while longer to see what has happened until we get there. Then we gonna give you some great photos to you!
And we have promised you that you should get a blog-post a day and we should really try to keep our promises!

Another funny thing is that we have received our first booking at the house! Our first guests checking in on January 27 and checking out on February 3. We are so happy and hope they will enjoy their stay in our wonderful house! They have made their reservation through our advertise on Villa Renters. Check it out:

The winter is absent and we charge for the last week with rain and bad weather.
A week passes quickly and soon we’ll get ashore on our paradise island of Koh Tao and into our dream house Frangipani Villa!

Big hugs from us!

A hundred thousand

Hello hello to you all!
O my God, we have recently reached a hundred thousand visitors (100 000)!!
It is really great! We are so grateful that you reading our blog and we are very, very sorry that we do not update as often! We will try to get better at it!

But what is happening now is that we just work and work and soon it’s only four weeks left until we meet Koh Tao and our fantastic villa again. It will be as exciting and fun to see everything that is done in reality. We’ve got pictures, but it’s not quite the same as experiencing it yourself. So now we longs both of us that these four weeks to go as fast as possible. And hold out, we promise that it will be at least one blog post every day or evening when we are on Koh Tao and sit on the terrace with a San Miguel Light at sunset!

Take care so long!
Big hugs from us =D

Happened since last time!

Hello there!
This has happened since last time we wrote. I, Linda, have come home from my family and friends in Jokkmokk. Here are some photos from the week that I had up north!

We have bought a new camera, a Canon Powershot S95. This is to have two cameras under the surface when we go to the Galapagos next year! So we don’t mess a hammerhead or a whale shark just because we don’t have a camera each… It would be a disaster! =D
We dis some test-photos when Tomas’s mother and her partner were here for one weekend ago. Check out the funny photos.

Then we got some new pictures of what is happening to our lovely house in Koh Tao. Now it’s really getting finished, the garden is almost complete. It is so nice! Check out Frangipani Villas beautiful garden!!

The time ahead is filled with mostly job, job, job. Norway have got half the tax in November so it is best to work as much as possible now! It’s only six weeks left until we step ashore on our paradise Island Koh Tao and our lovely house, Frangipani Villa!

Take care in the autumn darkness!
Linda & Tomas

Report from Koh Tao

Oh yes, new images and a new report on what is happening with our house.
Everything is progressing by leaps and bounds much is ready, but much remains. Aon and the construction team working on like crazy. What is finished is the storage-room outside, the stairs are fixed, the railings around the house is painted and finished. We talked to Aon on Koh Tao the day before yesterday and she told me also that the gutter soon is in place, she wants to fix it as soon as possible before the rainy season comes to Koh Tao, so we can start to collect water.
You hear, there is a lot happening now. But the best part is that we have got more digital design pictures of the garden, outdoor terraces, mini bar and especially the pool! The pictures are fabulous, go to Future plans under Dream house and see for yourself!
This is a sample:

Take care!
Love from us! <3
