Wonderful Summer-week!
Hi there!
Hope you all doing well around the world!
Another week has past and we got some lovely people who has visiting us here in Oslo. Last weekend Tomas mom Gunilla and Anders was here and during the whole week my mom Gunnel and my grand mom Ingrid was staying with us. We had a couple of fantastic days with beautiful summer weather.
The whole week has been loaded with lots of sun, delicious food, small trips, heat, wine and love. Completely wonderful!
On Tuesday we where on an island called Langøya. On Wednesday we walked around Vigeland Sculpture Park and in the evening we sail out in the Oslo-fjord to do some sightseeing and eating lots of fresh prawns. On Thursday we rent a car and did a road-trip to Norwegians fifth largest lake Tyrifjord and its beautiful landscape. On Friday it was raining so we just did some shopping-hours. On Saturday it was sunny again and we spent the whole day on the island Gressholmen and on Sunday we just relaxed and watch the great movie ”Water for Elephants” and then we took a evening walk to to show Oslo Opera House to mom and grand mom.
And then this lovely week was til its end, they traveled back to Sweden on Monday.
It was so fun to have them here the whole week, we are missing them so much. The next year when they coming back we hope they going to stay for two weeks. 😉

But now this summer has come to its end, it has turned below 20 degrees and it rains a lot.
It’s sad, we thought that we should have a few more hot days with sun, but if you look on the weather forecast it will not happened.
But then we long even more to stay in our beautiful new renovated house on Koh Tao. It is only 4 month left now until we’ll see it again!! We got some new animated pictures from Aon yesterday! Look, isn’t going to be amazing?
Tomas has gone to his job and I’m off work to day, so now I’ll curl up on the sofa with a nice book and a cup of tea while the rain pouring down the window.

No one goes unaffected
Yesterday we arrived to a dark Oslo. We walked past the Oslo Cathedral and lit a light for those who lost their lives. No one goes unaffected from this unimaginable and horrible that had happened here in Oslo and at Utøya.
Our thoughts are with those who mourn and Norway…
Day of sorrow…
It is completely surreal what happened in Oslo yesterday, Friday 22 July!
It’s so hard to take in, but our thoughts go to Norway and Oslo today!
We are safe and sound, me and Tomas. We took a bus to Båstad on Thursday, to spend the weekend in Sweden with Tomas’s mother Gunilla and her man Anders.
And we can say that we feel really lucky! And it also seems that all our friends and colleagues we have in Oslo also has survived and are safe. Feels great!
I know that the restaurants I’m working in, D/S Louise and Lekter’n are closed today…
As said we find no words, as surly many others, just thoughts and questions how and why?
So good news in the middle of the chaos…
We have finally received the quotation from Aon on Koh Tao Villas!
Now she will go ahead and complete our dream home, everything will be so fantastic! Finally!

It is so much fun when Aon will put her own touch on our dream home, it feels like she wants to realize what we want!
Now we yearn even more to our lovely house on our paradise island, Koh Tao!

Missing Koh Tao!
Now we are home again, time flies when you’re having fun, unfortunately. We would love to stay on our paradise-island forever. But for now, we have to do this short trips back and forth because we have to work too!
We have managed to get lots of things done. We have obtained insurance to be
cover most of the things, but who may know if it will work in Thailand as
it comes to the crunch, it remains of course to see. We also get an post-box at the PostOffice and the foremost thing we had to do on this trip was to overwrite the land-paper from Sportsgarden to our company Frangipani Villa Koh Tao and now it is done, finally! So we are now official owner of the land where our dreamhouse stands on! Feels really good!
Our new office Koh Tao Villas and architect Aon is now under contract for completin everything in our house and small things outside. She will also construct the
garden and our store-room and some do some of the extra little luxury things to make our house even more beautiful. Everything should be ready when we arrive in December, and it is so exiting, we can hardly wait!
It feels so incredibly good that we finally get everything done!
The funny thing is that we have left our pool plans for her and she has already found a pool-company in Bangkok that will build it. We will also have a 3D drawing of our proposed pool area! Looking forward to it!

In Oslo, everything as usual except that it is quite warm, probably believe that the summer has arrived, finally!

Finally here again!
We are sitting here on the terrace again, and it is so amazingly wonderful! We really love to be here! Some cold beers goes down our throat while we looking out over Sairee Beach tiny lights. We are sitting with Tomas friends Arvid and Glenn who are here a few days visiting us.
In a moment we’ll jump into bed and we going to sleep like prince and princess in our comfortable beds. Tomorrow will be a ”much-to-be-done day,” we hope! It is Sunday and we know that most things in Thailand is closed when it is Sunday. The morning will be spent on the phone, so we get everything done during the week we are here. The afternoon will be spent in Chalok Harbour and their pool. Longing for sun and the sea now! Monday will kick-start to get everything up and running, buy plants, building the garden and start with the things to do indoors!
Oh yes, you hear that we are, as usual, busy! But we’ll try to catch a few dives also at Scuba Junction, probably on Tuesday!

Thank you all readers, you are amazing! You all warming our hearts when we know that you are in here and reading, looking at our pictures and follow us on our journey through life!!
Is not many days left now, before we once again check in in our dream. The dream we have built up on the other side of the world. We really long now and really hope that the house is that we left it in February and that the rain storm earlier this year, did not put too deep tracks.
It will be much work to get everything in place. We are thinking and figuring on many ideas, and what idea who is the most relevant for us to do now and what idea who is a must when we arrive. But mostly me, Linda figuring on where we should put all the plants and trees for the garden and how beautiful it’s going to be when it will be as we plan.
We want to go right now, but first we will have some few days left with intensive days next week with lots of work for both of us, but soon, really soon….
