One week awaited divingtrip!!

The Maldives!
Just the name sounds so exotic!! 😀
And it was absolute amazing to put your feet on some of this 1192 beautiful islands, spread on 26 atolls.
We crossed 6 of those atolls with our live-aboard cruise with start at Malé City. It was pretty amazing that we landed on an airport island, Hulhumale, in the middle of the sea and then we took a speedboat-ride for about 10 minutes to the capital island Malé City. We had one night in Male City. That was really nice to be there one day before and had a good nights sleep before we got on board the boat. That afternoon we walked around this small capital (only 1,8 square kilometer, but have almost 104 000 inhabitants). The entire city occupies the whole island and it was really fun to see it from the boat. The day after we arrived to Male City we went back to Hulhumale and was picked up on the airport and than transferred to the boat, MV Leo, that would be our home for the next 8 days. And what a boat!! Big diving-boat deck, Jacuzzi, nice big sundeck to relax on between our dives. Big lounge/dinner area and lots of fantastic food. We have already decided that it’s not the last time we go to the Maldives!! 😉
But now til the funny part, the diving! Oh my god, we had so many amazing dive on even more amazing dive sites but some dive sites on the outer reefs of South Ari Atoll wasn’t that great considering corals and fishlife. But it was still really good diving! We saw lots of colorful coral fish, beautiful coral reefs, wrecks, sharks and MANTAS!!!
Our most thrilling night dive was when we sat on a ring on the bottom of a lagoon around everyone’s torches an could enjoy this amazing creatures for 60 minutes. Mantas is absolutely one of the world’s wonder. They danced around us, on the side, above and almost under us! This was one of our absolute best night dive ever! FANTASTIC!!

Dive photos are coming soon, but here is some photos above surface around the Maldives and from Male City!
Watch and enjoy!

6 days left….

IMG_2018Yes, we only have 6 days left until we be on our way to the Maldives!!

This weekend we should start to pack some of our things. This will be sooooooo much fun!! We really longing for some diving!
Is unreal that we’ll see the Maldives before it might sink someday. So we have to take our chance now!
The highest point above the sea-level is only 2 meters. That’s absolute crazy! So go if you have the chance!

Ok, this is some small photos before our own is coming! 🙂

Take care and dive safe!

Hello everyone!
Very soon….. In just a week, our plane lifts early on Friday morning to Ecuador and the Galapagos. At last!
This trip we booked for 1.5 years ago and you can imagine now is the day coming soon for our dream trip!
We will join a dive-liveaboard as it so nicely named. Where you as a diver, dive, eat and sleep, dive, eat, sleep in lots of days and experience the exciting wildlife both below the surface and above the surface, such as hammerhead sharks, whale sharks, manta rays, eagle rays and then Galapagos unique wildlife as Galapagos sharks, Galapagos Tortoise, Marine Iguanas, Galapagos sea lions and the cute Galapagos penguins.

Here’s a taste for you. All images are borrowed but soon we will show you our own!

Hugs from us!
